WOLF-e ROBOTICS, a Romanian company specializing in designing and manufacturing devices, smart systems, and UVC robots / UV robots for air and surface disinfection, participated in a Professional Debate on Modern Medical Management in Public Hospitals, discussing the convergence of “science – medicine – technology.”
The 14th edition of the event was organized by the community of Oameni și Companii supported by WOLF-e ROBOTICS (Romanian manufacturer) and LIAMED (medical equipment integrator and distributor). Dr. Vasile Cepoi, Director of the Iași Public Health Department, moderated the event, attended by 98 hospital managers, infectious disease specialists, and doctors specialized in nosocomial infections.
“Environmental hygiene is one of the strategies that must be taken into account in the prevention and control of nosocomial infections. Environmental hygiene means the sanitization of surfaces and air, the control of cleaning quality; disinfection without cleaning is not effective. Real-time control of the quality of cleaning performed is necessary. With the emergence of the pandemic, air disinfection in a room in healthcare facilities, as well as outside healthcare facilities, would be the first condition for limiting the transmission of this disease,” says Dr. Vasile Cepoi.
About the National Program for Modern Medical Management in Public Hospitals
Launched in 2007, the National Program for Modern Medical Management in Public Hospitals has as its main reference component for the Romanian medical society the National Conference on Modern Medical Management, with two events per year, having a history of 26 offline editions organized so far and over 7500 participants. Starting with the 27th edition, the National Conferences on Modern Medical Management in Public Hospitals will have a fully digital format, with online debates on a monthly basis.
About WOLF-e ROBOTICS | Environmental Hygiene
WOLF-e ROBOTICS was born in the pandemic as a response to this moment, but the applicability and impact of disinfection go beyond this isolated event in time. Based on our experience in the technology field, we believe that this industry should be managed with the same level of sophistication as we are used to from almost any other industry.
“We, as a company, exist to reduce the spread of infectious diseases and to fundamentally change the way we think about keeping people safe in indoor spaces. Innovating to improve the health of our natural habitat – indoor spaces – is the most important and pressing challenge for the human health of our generation,” declares Stefan Toma, CEO and Founder of WOLF-e ROBOTICS.
Our solution represents the convergence of science, medicine, and technology and allows hospitals, clinics, and offices of all shapes and sizes to improve the health and safety of their indoor environment and, consequently, to improve the health of the people they serve.
Our solutions provide a comprehensive solution that can be tailored to any interior area and can handle every use case. To put it another way, we can now visit any physical place, get fundamental data about how the facility is used and configured, and then construct a tailored solution that maximizes risk reduction in that particular environment. The end result is an extraordinary efficacy that has a significant positive impact on the health of those who use the area.
We are based in Ploiești and provide delivery of our products to all locations in Romania and abroad. We offer consulting for choosing the most suitable systems according to the characteristics of the workspaces, immediate delivery from stock, and we can manufacture any UV-C disinfection and purification system, according to the needs and requirements of our customers.
All of these are correlated together on the WOLF-e ROBOTICS platform that ensures compliance and traceability of a process that until now was invisible and impossible to audit.
About LIAMED
LIAMED is a company that provides a variety of UV-C ray-based medical devices and equipment. The practical part of this Professional Debate on Modern Medical Management in Public Hospitals involved the presentation of the UV-C mobile robot called CoBOT-XL. The device belongs to the germicidal products category, ensuring the disinfection of surfaces and air by exposing them to UV-C radiation.
Benefits of the mobile robot manufactured by Romanian producer WOLF-e ROBOTICS | Environmental hygiene
Efficiency
The most powerful UV-C robot on the market for short disinfection cycles and elimination of shadowing effect.
Safety
Safety is guaranteed thanks to 360-degree coverage PIR sensors with a detection distance of 10m (the lamps will not turn on if people are detected nearby).
Compliance
Innovations brought by IoT and the application and platform flow eliminate the possibility of insufficient dosage, and each disinfection cycle will comply with the dose set by the administrator.
Traceability
The only robot that automatically records each cycle and event in the Cloud and can generate personalized reports.
Intuitive control through mobile application and Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity
Operating mode
Predefined programs for each space, for simplicity in operation and ensuring the desired degree of disinfection. Timing with automatic shutdown, remote start with tablet assistance
Guarantee
24 months standard, with the possibility of a subscription with predictive and corrective maintenance and device replacement
Lifespan
12,000 hours
The CoBOT-XL robot’s originality is not only its tremendous power, but also the ease with which it can be remotely operated via a simple smartphone application. Disinfection/environmental hygiene parameters are automatically set to obtain the required dose for each room, minimizing the danger of inadequate dosing. Data on the remaining time before the UV-C sources need to be changed is also provided in the application.
The application constantly communicates with an administration platform where all information about the performed cycles is recorded (e.g. who performed the disinfection, when it was done, for how long, if it was interrupted, etc.) and displayed in a dashboard for increased visibility and easy performance tracking. Task lists can also be generated for each member of the cleaning team in the platform, and activity reports can be generated for each person, room, or section, thus eliminating the need for a registry.
Given the above, but especially the high power of the CoBOT-XL robot, it is suitable for use in any space where there is microbial load, starting with hospitals (operating room, laboratory, ICU, etc.) and ending with classrooms, industrial halls, or shops” – says Răzvan Drăgoi, Medical Representative LIAMED.
Below we present the new made-in-Romania UV devices UV robots, for combating nosocomial infections and environmental hygiene: WOLF-e ROBOTICS.
