Opinions on fresh and healthy air? As we all know, humanity is an indoor species, spending over 90% of our lives indoors. Therefore, it is important to shift from the energy efficiency of buildings that concentrate indoor pollutants and start talking about the power of buildings to keep us healthy or make us sick.
At WOLF-e Robotics, retrospectives are turning into a tradition!

We have been monitoring the evolution of the epidemiological situation in Romanian schools and have countered the statements of the National Institute of Public Health, which did not recommend the use of UV lamps for disinfecting surfaces in educational institutions in order to limit the transmission of COVID-19. We explained that crippling an industry that produces safe UVC disinfection devices is totally unfair and that there are also devices that disinfect the air with UV light, without putting people in the room at risk. How? The UVC light tubes are hidden in the device and can run in a classroom completely safely.
In April, we celebrated WOLF-e ROBOTICS with the launch of the “DISINFECTED AIR AS A SERVICE” subscription – a service aimed at companies and businesses that were gradually adopting a hybrid work style – working from home and from the office, and the mental and physical safety of employees had to remain a top priority. “Disinfected Air as a Service” means disinfected and clean air, with UV-C technology, complete benefits at the highest quality standards.
Stefan Toma tells us in FinEco24News about how WOLF-e ROBOTICS was founded as part of a social responsibility campaign and how we can contribute to mitigating the effects of the pandemic.
The partnership and equipment of Enayati Medical City, the largest medical complex in Romania, with AER and CoBOT, smart UV-C disinfection devices, represented the highlight of April 2021. These devices regularly sterilize the air and surfaces in indoor spaces, and medical staff and patients can enjoy clean, sanitized air.
We then joined #motoRC and Next Level Racing Team in promoting a unique team sport among the younger generation: speed motorcycle racing.
“It is a product that doesn’t just kill Covid-19. Everyone is now focused on Covid, but there are a lot of other pathogens in the air that can cause various illnesses, whether we are talking about fungi, bacteria, and other viruses,” says Ștefan Toma in an interview with start-up.ro / Vlad Andriescu.
July arrived with good news and a breath of fresh air! The introduction of WOLF-e ROBOTICS at Afacerilor de la zero was a proof of our company’s quality and professional atmosphere in redefining air and surface disinfection standards.
In the middle of summer, we danced! The BonitoDance and Movmnt International Dance Competition had a reliable helper! The “AER” and “BREEZ” air disinfection devices were on duty and the participants, staff, and spectators were all safe, breathing healthy air!
The in-house quantitative research done in August on how the general public sees the relevance of sanitizing work or residential areas clearly shown that the populace is unaware of the need of maintaining appropriate air quality parameters. It’s like never drinking from the same glass of water that our colleagues or friends just drank from, but we breathe the same air all day long in offices, schools, homes, buses, and even planes with other X people. Every day, we breathe alongside other people and often breathe out what others exhale from their lungs!
We started the Serviciul Demo Session with the start of fall and the reopening of schools, since it is critical to understand what good cleaning, purification, and hygiene entail for classrooms in schools and kindergartens, which relate to both surfaces and air in these spaces. We want children to feel entirely protected in these environments! Therefore, we offer free DEMO sessions with our professional UVC technology equipment to support private or state educational institutions in Romania.
October brings the interview on how the business of producing intelligent devices for air and surface sanitization with UV-C has grown, with Radu Ciofu on Canal 33 and Ștefan Toma, founder of WOLF-e ROBOTICS.
How do we efficiently ventilate rooms? We conducted a recent interview, this time for Ziarul Fnanciar Logistica Businessului. We saw that the healthcare sector is in great demand and that, until recently, little attention had been paid to it. We started collaborating with distributors to understand the needs of hospitals so that they can keep their hospitals safe, and we created an IoT installed on all our devices, an application for disinfections made in hospitals using our devices – says Stefan Toma, founder of WOLF-e ROBOTICS.
In November, we had many important events. At the beginning of the month, we showcased WOLF-e at WebSummit, in Portugal, the world’s largest tech conference. At the same time, we were partners with Surgicon, the International Congress of Student Surgeons, which had over 320 ONSITE (physical) participants from 14 countries and 313 ONLINE participants from no less than 30 countries.
We gratefully accepted the Excellence Diploma at the most significant event for recognizing innovation and excellence in the healthcare industry, which aims to identify and appreciate examples of good practice in the Romanian medical system, individual and team achievements, “Romanian Healthcare Awards – 2021”, in the category of “Medical Innovation of the Year,” with the project “WOLF-e ROBOTICS: Technology & Innovation for Revolutionizing Disinfection Standards“. We were honored to be alongside so many innovative projects for the development of the medical system in Romania.
December comes with our participation in the Professional Debate on Modern Medical Management, organized by Medicalmanager.ro.. We discussed the efficiency of our devices and how we bring technological innovations and autonomous robots into everyday reality using the most efficient methods for inactivating pathogens. Dr. Vasile Cepoi, the Director of the Public Health Directorate in Iasi, and Răzvan Drăgoi, Medical Representative at Liamed, joined us in the discussion.
The podcast with Radu Ciofu had as its main topic the production and manufacturing industry in Romania, with a focus on the systems produced by WOLF-e ROBOTICS, specially designed for UVC disinfecting and purifying air and surfaces. We discussed the efficiency of our devices and how we bring technological innovations and autonomous robots into everyday reality using the most effective methods of pathogen inactivation. Also in December, the Rapsodia Hall in Lipscani was animated by over 50 dance studios from Romania in the BonitoDance International Dance Competition. Both dancers and the audience remained safe, thanks to our “AER” devices with UVC light, which worked continuously in both the performance hall and common areas.
We ended 2021 with the presentation of WOLF-e ROBOTICS alongside prestigious lecturers from the Technical University of Construction Bucharest – UTCB and the professional environment at the Professional Training Course for Designers and Energy Auditors – Ventilation as an Obligation for New and Renovated Buildings, organized by the Chamber of Auditors and Association of Installation Engineers from Romania – AIIR. The presentation module referred to the supplementing of ventilation with the help of UV-C light, implementation methods, automation, and practical aspects for proper sizing. Thus, we remained dedicated to our mission of innovating for the improvement of the health of our natural habitat – the built environment!
