As we all know, humanity is an indoor species, spending over 90% of our lives inside closed spaces. We started with the medical space, but we applied innovation to other areas such as education, transportation, HORECA, and business buildings (with HVAC/CTA systems). We believe that society is ready to move from building energy efficiency (which concentrates indoor pollutants) to concepts such as the power of buildings to keep us healthy, to correctly sanitized spaces, and actually, to a new level – a higher level of the notion of cleanliness.
For us, 2022 was rich in participating in medical events and relevant congresses. It was even more important as we participated in the largest annual international medical fair, MEDICA, held in Germany. For Wolf-e Robotics, there were 4 memorable days – with many visitors to our booth and specialists from the world of global healthcare. All were interested in the UVC technology used in the case of products designed and manufactured in Romania, and they could find information about the most powerful air and surface disinfection devices for the healthcare environment, large business buildings, educational institutions, and public facilities. For the second consecutive year, we had the honor of participating in the Romanian Healthcare Awards 2022, in the category “Medical Innovation of the Year” with our project, “Wolf-e Robotics: Robot-Assisted Disinfection for Surfaces and Air in Healthcare Environment”.
Romanian Healthcare Awards is the first and largest competition with an international jury dedicated to doctors, medical teams, and hospitals in Romania, an event that recognizes innovation and excellence in healthcare and aims to identify and appreciate examples of good practice in the Romanian medical system, individual and team successes.
This year, the projects were judged by the 27 members of the international jury – specialists and valuable representatives of the medical system from Romania, Bulgaria, France, the Republic of Moldova, Norway, Belgium, Ireland, and the United Kingdom, who evaluated the applications in the 7 categories of the competition. We, Wolf-e Robotics, a 100% Romanian company, obtained the Diploma of Excellence, with the innovation and research project 2022 “Wolf-e Robotics: Robot-Assisted Disinfection for Surfaces and Air in Healthcare Environment”.
In November, we participated in the National Conference of Microbiology and Epidemiology and presented in detail, at the booth of our partner, Hellimed, the integrated solution of Wolf-e Robotics for reducing the risk of nosocomial infections, which can be financed through PNRR. The autonomous surface disinfection robot, CoBOT Ultra, was the star of these days – and it is important to tell you that this robot is the most powerful in the world.

At the SOROT Conference 2022 in Brasov, we were with our partner Hellimed where we also presented our UVC disinfection devices and the Wolf-e Robotics platform that ensures 100% compliance and traceability of all low-friction hygiene protocols.

In September, the Wolf-e Robotics team presented the advantages of UV technology and mobile robots made in Romania at the ARCE Congres 2022 – the 11th National Congress of the Romanian Association for Endoscopic Surgery in Timisoara. The star actors from the Wolf-e Robotics range were CoBOT Ultra – the most powerful UVC robot in the world, and Wolf-BOT – the autonomous robot for air and surface sanitation. During breaks between scientific sessions, coffee could be served in a very innovative way!
#ARCE2022 was an excellent opportunity for us to attend conferences, interactive sessions, and video sessions by nationally and internationally recognized experts in minimally invasive surgery and to learn about the main needs in the sterilization protocols of the operating room. Technological progress is closely related to the efforts and availability of medical teams to achieve remarkable results both in medical practice and in maintaining a sterile environment throughout interventions. At the ICEE 2022 Conference hosted by the Association of Installation Engineers in Romania – AIIR – Moldova Branch, the first statistics after 6 months of measurements were presented within the “Healthy Schools” project, in which Wolf-e Robotics is a partner and about which we told you at the beginning of 2022. We discussed the fact that centralized ventilation and air disinfection are the most effective solutions for ensuring clean air – air that can be safely breathed in classrooms. In conditions where CO2 concentrations during class hours greatly exceed standard norms and volatile organic compounds have very high rates due to cleaning products used, air purifiers and disinfection systems prove their efficiency – contributing to increasing air quality by up to 50%.

After two difficult years of the pandemic, the National Surgery Congress was held in Sinaia at the beginning of June with a physical presence of over 800 participants. It was a real success both in terms of the courses, sessions, round tables dedicated to different subjects in surgery, specialists, and also in terms of socializing and resuming the usual style of face-to-face events, which we missed the most lately.As anticipated by Prof. Univ. Dr. Traian Pătrașcu, President of the Romanian Society of Surgery, the new edition of CNC (National Congress of Surgery) was a memorable one, also due to the location where it took place – in the halls of the International Conference Center “Casino” in Sinaia and in the “Enescu” hall of the “Palace” Hotel.
The Medical Exhibition organized within the CNC was open from June 8-11, 2022, in the foyer on the ground floor and in the Mirrors Hall of the Sinaia Casino. We also participated and throughout the entire congress, we delighted the audience with our range of products, the star of the event being Wolf BOT, the autonomous mobile robot that wandered undisturbed in the allocated spaces. Employees’ return to the office became a focus for Human Resources departments in early 2022. In the previous two years, some organizations have seen major decreases in work productivity as a result of remote labor, while others have adapted and raised their financial metrics. As a result, in February, we concentrated on what it means to have a healthy workplace environment and on the disinfection of commercial facilities. We participated with great interest in the Property&Facility Management Conference, where ventilation and disinfection of business buildings were central topics.
With the technology developed by us, Wolf-e Robotics, we can enter any office building, collect some basic information about the characteristics and use of the building, and design a personalized solution that maximizes risk reduction in that specific space.
